Young Professionals for International Cooperation (YPIC) is a program of the United Nations Association of the United States of America (UNA-USA) that seeks to engage young professionals in discussions of international affairs, emphasizing the importance of multilateral cooperation and the United Nations. As part of UNA-USA, YPIC provides emerging leaders with resources to act on issues of national and global importance.

YPIC Mid-Peninsula is a newly launched initiative providing a unique forum for young professionals in the Palo Alto area to engage in discussion about current international issues through events focusing on significant policy issues, career development, and social networking.

We are a diverse group of individuals who share a passion for international affairs and an interest in the work of the United Nations. In order to create an active local dialogue around global issues, we organize a variety of events throughout the year, including panel discussions, film screenings, networking at local restaurants, and community service projects.

Get Involved – Join YPIC and begin reaping the benefits of Membership.

Make A Difference – Advocate for one of the many UN humanitarian efforts that YPIC supports right here in Palo Alto. Inform your peers about a pressing issue. YPIC provides you with the resources and support to help you make it happen.

Have Influence – Act on our Steering Committee. Committee involvement allows our Members to take leadership roles in our community, to motivate others, and to initiate projects that have a direct impact on YPIC’s success in fulfilling its mission to inform and engage.
